Good Article,
But bottom the line is,no matter how well he is playing, he dosent fit in to traps idea's, he's had another token cap, but id say that could be he's last.
Hopefully i'm wrong, but can't see trap using him, especially in he's correct position.

Yeah I agree somewhat in what Phillyk has said in an earlier post on this thread
but there is no plan B or C with the Trap which is ridiculous, Think wes would complement long
sitting in behind him but it might be too late to be trying it out.

Even if Trap sticks to the 4-4-2 - I don't see any harm in giving him a run on either flank (against Poland).

Trap likes his wingers to cut inside anyway. At least he will be getting an opportunity to show what he can or can't do.

Good piece on Wes.

I like this line:

The former Livingston and Blackpool playmaker never just passes the ball, he lends it to team-mates and offers an angle for the instant return

I always think back to when Wes ripped Leeds apart in a friendly in Tolka several years back for Shels . He was sublime that day and i really thought Leeds would be after him straight away .Different class he is.Clap

Pilkington will start. Hoolahan will get a run*

* nothing more than a perfunctory gesture from Trap tho cos not a hope in hell Hoolahan will get a minute against Sweden.

I hope so, but anything is possible with Trap. It would show a clear message that he really wanted him on board by starting him and of course on club form it should be a no brainer that he plays from the off.

Trap was interviewed last week and he really wants to see Pilkington, Hendrick and, er, Sammon.
Says he wants to watch Keogh in training.

Very excited to see those two tbh, like many others i'm sure.

Sammon, i think we know what to expect from him and it won't be an improvement on anything thats in the squad on a regular basis which makes it all the more puzzling tbh. As for Keogh, he's obviously not good enough for international football but i do feel sorry him because he rarely if ever gets played up top when given a start or when he's brought on as a sub.

Think it's the Keogh off Derby that Trap wants to look at GD. To be honest, I haven't got a clue who he is.

Wes should be starting. None of this getting a few minutes ballox. He hasnt had enough minutes in green in the first place. Get him in and get him comfortable. We need the likes of him to have any chance of performing miracles and making second in this group.
