Without Vidal (suspended) and Diaz (injured) a wide open midfield worked well for Argentina. Most likely he won't gamble on the next game with this formation.

Messi was named for tonight's match in Bolivia but Argentinian FA have withdrawn him cos he's under investigation for calling the referee's mother a c*** last match.

Think it's something to do with Mothers being seen as Holy and most swearing in most cultures derives around religious elements

True, 'madre mia' etc. I just couldn't get upset about someone insulting somebody they don't know.

This year's South America qualification is actually really interesting.

2 points separating 3rd and 6th, with only 5 games to go, 2 of the teams still have to play Bolivia away and Brazil.
Ecuador are probably going out if they lose Colombia tonight though, still to play both Argentina and Brazil, expect Chile to be beating Venezuela tonight so it's a massive ask for Ecuador to catch up.
