Noticed that he scored on livescore alright. Hopefully it's a better year for him and he can get himself fit for the start of the national league in May.

Peruvian league really is in dire straights.

Players on strike, big clubs pulling out of the league, other clubs releasing all their players. Makes the LOI look good.

Any idea how the great one played? Delighted to see him back in the national team full time again Clap

Read two match reports, both just mentioned him in  relation to poor club form and that he was subbed after an hour. On the plus side Papacy scored the winner for them!

He was poor to be honest. When Ganso came on Brazil looked far better. Can't see Dinho being in any Brazil squads after London 2012.

Great game for a friendly though the Bosnians were well up for it. Their back four were excellent including Papac.

Pekerman's first game in charge for colombia. Could have been a few down early. Peanut Hernandez missed a few sitters.Really grew as the game went on. Second goal is  like a training ground perfection class. about 25 passes and the Cuadrado the full back knocks it in. This link doesn't do it justice.

They/We have the players. Really desperately want them to qualify. If they do , I think they will do well.

Have to say I'm completely shocked at that result. Boca must be one of the most conservative teams in football at the moment. Rarely concede goals or score more than 2.

First loss since last April in the league too.

Nice free kick from Ganso -v- Juan Aurich in the Libertadores. 2-1 now the were 1 behind. Vital they win this game on a strange pitch...

Boca with an important 1st win yesterday against Arsenal.

Trezeguet doing well at River Plate too.
