Wouldnt pay too much attention to the contract. It will just bump up his transfer fee.

The Emperor Strikes Back

Adriano after his last minute winner last week. Could have be the title winning goal.

Living the life so he is.

Fred just scored a 89th minute equaliser against Vasco for Flu.

Corinthians are winning 1-0.

Looks like it's Corinthians' title.

sh*t.

Vasco scored a 93rd minute winner.

The Corinthians game was over. They thought they had won it.

Unbelievable scenes.

From today's comments it looks like Neymar is keeping to his word and staying at Santos until the 2014 World Cup when his contract ends. Good news for Brazilian football.

Talk of Nilmar coming back and with Jadson already back the attacking quality is looking good.

Copa Libertadores starts on Tuesday with 12 teams fighting for the last 6 group stage spots.

Yeah I actually think he's going to stay now. As long as Santos can keep financial backing he will be there until the WC. If Brazil win the WC he's gonna cost a lot of money. Possibly on the Ronaldo scale.

His contract is up in July 2014, surely they'll have to negotiate something with him so he can't leave on a free.

Played his last game a few days ago. Heard it was an emotional farewell, one of their most influential players ever.

Joins Sao Paolo for €3.8m taking Rivaldo's vacant number 10 jersey and Donetsk get 30% of the rights to Wellington.

Douglas Costa signed a 5 year deal.

Ronaldinho's 90th minute goal sent Flamengo through to the Libertadores group stage.

Luxemburgo was then sacked straight after the game.

Dinho was in sensational form by all accounts.

Nice send off for Martin Palermo from Boca as well. They walked to the Apuerta title.

Adriano put under house arrest by Corinthians as they force him to lose weight. Sad situation once a great player, death of his father had a lot to do with it.

Without doubt. IMO He would have been in Top Gun with Ronaldo and Messi right now. He was a sure thing to win World Player of the year, the year after Ronaldinho won it.
