Which ones? I think the 49ers were just committing a lot of penalties!
First TD shouldn't have stood. The ball was dropped in the play before hand. The one handed catch. It was only noticed after the game had restarted.
That call on the foul on the punter was ridiculous too. Think it was 21-7 at that stage and they scored another TD from that phase.

the only harsh one was the roughing the kicker, I thought it was a 5 yard penalty, not a 15. But 5 yards would have brought up 4th and 1, and Eagles would likely have gone for it anyway.

The catch was missed by the refs but would hardly call that a terrible missed call, nobody saw it until that extra replay after the Eagles got back to the line and ran a play really quickly. It's part of the game, no-catches can get missed like that if a play is ran off quick enough. Not blaming the refs for that one really.

Every other penalty was a penalty as far as I remember. It was pretty funny to see Shanahan losing his mind on the sideline and then a replay would come in showing the 49er committing the penalty he was complaining didn't happen.

Wouldn’t have said the refs favoured Philly at all. 49ers indiscipline cost them big time. The officiating in the later game was a different story however. A lot of soft calls in favour of KC. Overall it’s good to have the two best teams in the league this year contesting the SB. Can see the chiefs coming out on top but only by a whisker

Bad weekend for referees alright, thought giving Patrick Mahomes 5 downs when he needed a score was a new low!

Haven't really enjoyed these playoffs at all as much as previous years. Wildcard round was fun, but a lot of dud games since then. Hopefully the Superbowl makes up for it

Only thing I will say about the ‘5 downs’ is that the play was whistled dead the moment the ball was snapped. They showed a clip of a ref coming onto the field waving hands to shut it down but of course he wasn’t going to put himself in the crossfire. I think if mahomes succeeded on the third down it still would’ve been brought back so just unlucky on the bengals behalf

Yeah maybe, I thought it was refs bringing unnecessary heat on themselves and an unnecessary stop for feck all reason (play clock wasn't running was why they called it dead). If anyone had heard the whistle and stopped playing, you replay the down, but in my view, no player heard it, no coach, fan commentator etc.

They punted afterwards anyway so little effect on the game.

That was an incredible game. Mahomes coming up big when needed with that scramble with 3 mins left. Terrible holding call that effectively decided the game for KC. Hurts will be back again, one of great SB performances despite being on the losing team

I see the Eagles player came out to say it was a hold. There was one angle you could see it, the main replay they kept showing was after it. Still, thought it was soft.
