He’d be mad not to go to Italy. The women are unbelievable

I said "I'd be Tony Cascarino, circa 1995" |

Glad to hear! Living in Burnley, I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. |

I'm quite sure your manager will not concur. Good shout for relegation next year I would say, seems to be big issues at the club.

Dyche very unhappy at the board not acting on his recommendations and uncharacteristically has gone public on the matter. Big problems behind the scenes but not for Hendrick, who is getting away free and can pick his next club.

I’m sure you’re glad that your squad is so depleted that you have to name 3 goalkeepers on your bench. Not really thought that through I’m guessing

From LancsLive: And Burnley fans have taken to social media to react to the news that Hendrick will no longer be a Claret next month. Robert Lodge: Great news about Bardo, but sorry to see Jeff go. Shame the fans didn’t take to him at all, I’m a fan of his so I’m sorry to see him leave. Best of luck Jeff. Haydn Maguire: We can do better! Watch Brownhill smash it! Dyche will be the next to go I'm afraid, and I don't blame him. Danny: Honestly think the fact Hendrick was scapegoated so often, is one of the reasons he’s decided to leave. Got undeserved stick. Jordan Rushworth: At least Bardsley offers us an extra body right now. Hendrick going is a real blow though. Letting a player signed for 10m leave for free reflects badly on the management of his situation and is made even worse by all the financial constraints around at the moment. Todclaret1882: Huge loss. We'll miss his flexibility and work rate. Board need to do some serious recruitment in the summer. There are no excuses, the squad is now the weakest it's ever been whist we've been in the PL Liam Taylor: Hendrick will be a huge loss and I’m by no means his biggest fan Jordan Hunt: Gutted to see Hendrick leave. Massive scapegoat but always gave 100% and scored some absolute worldies. |

Reading comments on the Burnley forums and The Athletic article indicates that your take on him isn't the norn, Murph. Big majority seem disappointed to see him go which surprised me. I'd have lent more towards your opinion albeit without the level of irrational hatred!

No fan of Jeff the last few years, but he's played under some "pragmatic" managers (to be kind) in that time. If he's invisible and sh!te under Kenny, then there's no arguements.
