I think he is on a very good salary? At his age, taking the money is probably his priority over getting regular game time.

Jeff was a fine player. He just never kicked on that little bit extra. Loads of ability and technically excellent. Too good to be wasting away. Hes only 32. Should get out somewhere and play, Scotland or maybe Belguim or somewhere like that. Anywhere really he would be playing.

Wes especially so, you see the type of player that Wes was meant that when he went missing it was a bigger blow to the team and more noticeable i.e. forward playmaker. It's harder for defenders and blood and guts midfielders to go missing because they had a style of play that made it difficult to go missing. If you look at Wessy's assists the most he got in the premier league was 8 and at the time he got those they were in bursts and then there'd be a long string of games where he wasn't effective enough. That was the frustrating thing about Wes, this is coming from a fan of Wes by the way.
