He loves the lemons Brian Kerr. Loads of examples of his bitterness since he lost the job

I see Gerry Armstrong is saying McClean is having second thoughts about switching to Ireland and that Shane Ferguson is staying with Norn Iron. I will be amazed if Ferguson does not make the switch as contary to all the posters on Our Wee Country from speaking to a close member of Shane's family they were very keen on Shane making the switch and it would be a dream come true for them to see Shane pull on the Irish shirt. Be interesting to see what happens.

Id say this could be more to do with Gerry trying to put a positive spin on things.

"We have to stop the FAI cherry-picking Northern Ireland talent."

That is incorrect, the FAI are not picking the best NI players to represent us merely providing a chance for youths or an Irish presuasion to play with THEIR country.

We have found a couple on the mainland who we think qualify for Northern Ireland – one of which could be a real star of the future,” Gerry revealed

I thought the 'mainland' bit was almost as funny as Gerry trying desperately to put a positive spin on the issue. LOL

I wonder will he be asking young nationalist born players " How are things going over in the mainland"

You can almost see the blank expression staring back at Gerry LOL

Gerry really is the 'Uncle Tom' of the IFA!

Yes the large mammal with the big ears and the long trunk currently residing in the room does not appear to have been noticed by the IFA as to possible reasons for defections.

However i would like to see the player make the first move and any move to be done by the time they are 18

Had to laugh at Uncle Tom Armstrong's role as the  'elite player mentor' - plenty of spare time on his hands with that one Big smile

The future is certainly Orange for the pub team, but I doubt it will be very bright - pretty much like their fans in fact.
