Celtic play pretty attractive football, they play it around and pass a bit, why would they sign McClean? Especially given he'd undoubtedly bring unwanted heat on the club for the wrong reasons.

Don't see any links other than an article that says a few Celtic fans on Twitter want McClean.

Thought McClean played well today, whipped in a few nice balls into the box and could have had an assist or 2 if Rondon didnt scuff every chance he got. He actually looked like a winger and not a headless chicken with no position as he often does when playing for us.

Did well but still very prone to giving the ball away in dangerous areas.

Could decipher a few boos among the Theatre of Wet support when he got the ball.  Water off a duck's back, he'd an excellent game which was good to see.

Played very well. Would say he'd be brilliant in championship or even if i was a promoted team (say Cardiff/Fulham) looking for someone with PL experience I'd take a punt.

Was at the game and didn't hear anything to be fair. Great shift from him as he looked out on his feet after 70 minutes. Couple of decent balls into the box also

Starts vs Spurs. If WBA go down, any idea where he might go?

I don't think any Premier League side will go for him, championship probably his level.

Preston would be a good move imo.

Surely he’ll stay at WBA. Get more starts, more game time. This relegation could be the best thing for him

Darren Moore seems to like him anyway, if he is appointed (and they would be mad not to do that) James is as well off staying where he is, he'll play every week. Move to some other EPL struggler who will inevitably lose games, and he will probably be chopped & changed and have plenty bench time.

Only thing is, if he has a relegation clause & reduction in wages, he might seek to move on from a financial point of view, and ya couldn't blame him for doing that either. He is 29 too, so probably aware that it is likely that any next move is going to be his last 'big' contract, though I think with his dedication to fitness & teetotal lifestyle, he will play on for a good few years after that in any case.

Picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue.....
