Wombats hostel in Munich is cheap and very central, right beside the railway station.if your spending a few days in Munich go to the Hofbrauhaus and Augustiner Keller beer halls ,class spots and savage beer.

Do Poland if it's included on the inter-rail. Some great scenery and cities in that country and check out hostel world for hostels.

The Station was an amazing spot, but I heard it's been closed down? Great craic but the place was falling down. I remember the time I was staying there me and my mate ended up going out early in the day to watch the start of the SPL season (Celtic played St. Johnstone in the MoN days, man of the match was Momo Sylla for St Johnstone, so Celtic bought him a few days later.) Ended up drinking with a load of Rangers fans, and some Budapest derby was on, Ferencvaros V someone in blue, so we took a side each and played a drinking game. Ah, the days...

If ya end up in Belgrade stay at the arka barka hostel. Trust me it's one of best hostels in one of the best cities in Europe. http://www.arkabarka.net/
