He got a two year suspended sentence and had to pay the Elvis lad 230k.

The reason this went to court is because Stokes wouldn't pay circa 30k which Elvis was looking for in an out of court settlement.

He had been linked to Panathinaikos and Bolton. Having been promoted last season, Apollon Syrminis are 3rd bottom of the Super League and have failed to win in their last 11 matches.

Apparently the final straw for Hibs was Stokes letting fire extinguishers off at two young teammates in a hotel at 5am causing the alarm to go off and the whole building, including players, staff and other guests, to have to be evacuated. He's 29 years old.
