With all their trying they couldnt win it when they were cheating bastards, so they go away and start a new club. They deserve f**k all compared to other clubs around.

Edit: As Mr F has said they have some great fans all the same.

I’d go along with that – never got this fascination about their supporters either – never liked them

(though actually met a couple of sound lads in Drogheda last season – but they didn’t like the majority of derry supporters either so that’s probably why we got along Thumbs Up

Losing is hard to take but even worse is the potential of some nice revenue in further rounds. Fair ply to the Youths, 4 nil is a hammering.

Finally the muppets who sold the club down the river get some form of punishment, not enough though there should have been criminal prosecutions. Makes for grim reading, selling season tickets when the knew the club was going under and taking the funds themselves. These guys should have been run out of town

Their game against Cork has been moved to the Sunday, an hour after Derry V Dublin in football kicks off and on the same day as Man United v Liverpool and Spurs V Arsenal. Derry set to lose a rake of money because nobody will be at the game.

RTÉ will likely lose money on it too.
