West Ham have the Championship to look forward to next season. I imagine the West Ham line up will have several changes from the side that got relegated today. Green, Spector, Gabbidon, Hitzleberger, Keane, Cole, Ba, Upson and Parker will all have left.

Grant almost certainly will bew shown the door. I expect Chris Hughton to be installed as the new Hammers boss and given the chance to build a new side. Hughton worked wonder in turning Newcastle fortunes around but will face a bigger task with West Ham.

I think they've enough players they can sell off which should be able to fund some good Championship players. Get rid of the players who constantly put in no effort.

Ba should get them a tidy sum, as will the English lads; Green, Parker and maybe Cole (if someone without a clue of football fancies him).

Grant should've gone months ago. The fact he's still there just shows how bad the club is run. It's an embarrassment. I despise the club but my girlfriend goes to near every West Ham game so I hate to see her upset like this. They're an emotional rollercoaster but 99% of the time it ends in disappointment.

They were better off with the previous bankrupt board than with this bunch of cowboys.

ye they look in trouble now and will have to see how many players stick around. Might not be the worst thing for them as it will reduce there wage bill with there debt. Hopefully they can bring a few through from the academy and bounce straight back up

They've young players like Hines, Collison, Tompkins and Spense who could rip up the Championship. Sears is looking much better since he moved out to the wing. They're not in a bad state to be honest. Too many bad decisions have been made over past couple of years, this fresh start in my opinion is exactly what they need.

I just pray that Man Utd stay clear of any transfer talk involving Green or Parker.

Can't feel any sympathy towards the former porn kings now in charge there. No wonder Martin O'Neill wouldn't go near them whem they offered him the job. Then they had the cheek to say that Grant was always their "Number 1 choice." They had enough quality to stay up but just didn't produce it. No doubt Parker will be off to join 'Arry at Spurs, and Spurs aren't going to get much for Robbie Keane going on his performances at West Ham. It will be interesting to see where he ends up.

In fairness West Ham have been fighting off relegation for the last few seasons, 06-07, 09-10 and this year where they have fallen short. Don't think there will be a mad rush for any of there players, maybe Ba and Parker but none of the big teams will be looking at there players. West Ham's main failing over the years has been there inability to hold onto any promising young players they produce.

they could easily go into administration. i dont think they will go up next year. there will be a huge turnover of players.

Didn't waste any time sacking him did they ? 10 minutes after the game FFS. Could least have waited until tomorrow morning. Although he was largely responsible for their plight he deserved a little bit more than being sacked straight after the game. These people have no class at all.

West Ham need to be careful, they need to steady the ship, someone like Chris Hughton would be the ideal man for that, bring in a few players who may be out of contract, The likes of an Westwood or Adam Rooney would be no bad signing for West Ham. The existing squad is going to be decimated. They have a bunch of younger players who perform well in the  Championship, Tonkins, Collison Sears, Hines if they can keep them.

Grant wasnt to blame. The players are cowardly cheats. Their defence was a disgrace this season.

Don't expect to see them back in the top flight for a few years. Serious overhaul needed at the club now.
