A very short term option perhaps. Hopefully his injury problems are behind him.

New manager needs centre mid options and left back options as a priority

We do. If it's a choice though between him and Manning there's no arguments..

What does he really offer now though? Apart from taking 5 minutes over every throw in and free kick. We need more.

Not a long term option but it's clear he's our best option right now.

Was defensively good, but passing and delivery were poor enough. No better or worse than McClean playing LWB.

Thought his passing and crossing were grand, the cross to Ferguson in particular was excellent. The issues with Brady are that he's not a natural defender, he's unlikely to be fit on a consistent basis, and he can be got at for pace. Different issues to Coleman but ultimately the same conclusion, he's not really a long term option as a wing back.
We're decent enough..

He's just gone 32, if he can find a run of form there's no reason he wouldn't be considered for what is a problem position. Small country's limiting their own selection pool arbitrarily is never a good idea.

Just because you're not capable of criticising an Irish player, doesn't mean he should be considered. He's been done for years, not good enough

No need for that response.

Absolutely nothing wrong with O'Shea's post that if any other poster made it, you wouldn't take issue with it.

It's not entirely implausible that Brady at only 32 could find a way back as it is a problem position for us.

I'm not having a proper go, the levels of delusion on here are mental. Brady has been finished for years, simple as. He should be nowhere near our squad. Let's bring Jazzy Jeff while we're at it

You overreacted to a totally reasonable post because of who the poster was. No reason why Robbie couldn't potentially play his way back in given his relatively young age and experience.

Brady is made of glass and at 32 is winding down. It's a major case of what if because he has serious amounts of talent but has been plagued by injury and loss of form throughout his career. We have to move on. Yeah maybe I overreacted but that poster has been consistently unable to criticise any Irish player for years. How can anyone defend Collins after Saturday, he's our modern Paul McShane, an absolute bombscare of a defender.

Coming from the Paul McShane of posting LOL

You're a grown man who regularly argues with people on a football forum, it's embarrassing LOL

Pot, meet kettle. I'll leave it there before you embarrass yourself further Thumbs Up

Don't worry, you've been doing that for years on here Clap

As the post above states, leave it be. Brady is finished with Ireland
"Here's Robbie Keane...... yeeeessss! That is no more than Ireland deserve!"
