A good few travellers come here to get away from the heat in their own countries 

I'm going to Duinrell in Holland for 10 nights Wed week.

There is a Facebook group discussing it and it's absolutely a disaster - families going over - lost luggage, cancelled flights, delayed flights, taxis\transfers not showing, planes flying without passengers.

They've cancelled out outbound and return flights twice already. 

Aiport staff saying there is a tonne of suitcases just abandoned in the airport as they don't have staff to deal with sorting them out and putting them on the correct flight.

Schiphol are now going to start reducing all flights to 66%, as again, staff shortages. 

I've never been dreading a holiday so much that now.

Must be around 16c today in Galway , and yep rain not far away either . 

Still muggy enough. It could do with a drop of rain!

Parts of America and Canada have horrific winters and a few months later they go on fire. 

All well and good until the sea starts rising. 

It's a bit of a sh*thole if we're being honest. Google a random picture of any Scottish, Welsh or English town and then do same with a similar sized Irish town. Where would you rather go based on the pictures? Rundown, sh*te architecture, bleak. And with the price of everything you'd swear you're living in Camelot.
