It's hot, and it's been a few years since I've experienced it as hot here, but we're lucky that we don't get a lot of humidity. Without that, we really don't know what it's like in the likes of Spain or the Middle East.

When it's roasting, the breeze we get is tremendous Clap

The stadium in Lille with the roof closed was ridiculously hot. Yet still didn't hold a candle to the Mexico game in 94 which was actually criminal scheduling. And no water bottles allowed on pitch, absolute madness.

Only game in the group that was played in Orlando as well. Other games were in NY and Washington

Belgium and Holland played in Orlando the next day in another group. Same kick off time. Dunphy used that match and how those teams coped with playing at that time as a stick to beat the Irish team with. The fact that it was overcast that day didn't seem to have any relevance whatsoever.

Got home on Saturday after a week over that direction, I have never in the past and am pretty confident I will never again have a week solid of 20-30 degrees weather on a week I have booked off from work (unless I venture abroad), unbelievable weather Clap

Heard quite a lot of people say "sure you wouldn't need to go to Spain if you had weather like that every year" but the one almighty difference is your spending money for the week. Absolutely ridiculous that amount of money you burn through to eat out once or twice a day for family of 4 in ireland

Flashbacks to the mid-90s with those frumpy jeans and baggy Tupac and Nirvana hoodies.

Barely any tradesman's entrances on show today compared to the last few days.
