It was tied up and I had the patio table up against it as well, still blew over.

If only they could invent table tennis that you could play indoors!

It was an indoor/outdoor table, but even folded up its still too big and heavy to drag inside......and we’ve not enough room for it indoors anyway

I have never enjoyed outdoor table tennis in Ireland, no matter how good the weather is there always seems to be a bit of wind that catches the ball.

Id get columbo on the case.
I’d say an angry misses was fed up of you outside playing table tennis instead of doing any housework and smashed up the table.

Like the English and their dogs, if there was no weather the Irish would never converse with strangers.

Seems that way, the Tower Crane driver said at lunch we had gusts registering at about 70 to 80 kph just before 9am. Chap has no fear whatsoever. Not supposed to work over 35 kph but your man is lifting light loads and not a bit bothered by it. He is approx 65m above ground level.

One job I wouldn't do is work up in a crane. It must be doing some swaying today in that wind.
I could agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.

So he kept me soul for ransom.
