In a fitting tribute to a player who has dedicated over two decades of his life to Celtic FC, a match has been announced between Celtic and Athletic Club from Bilbao. This game not only honours James Forrest ’s remarkable career but also forms part of Athletic Club’s 125th

Yeah, Athletic Bilbao, all Basque team. Saw a match at their home ground some years ago, it’s very near the famous Guggenheim Museum.

Was there back in October, one of my favourite cities and the San Mames stadium is class, brilliant atmosphere too with the seats being so close to the touch line.

Actually think he offers more going forward than Taylor (had a part in both goals last night), who is constantly going back with the ball. However defensively he gives a lot away. Kobayashi looks like a failed signing. Be surprised if Ange doesnt go with Iwata at centre back beside Starfelt for the final.

Definitely need to strengthen the quality of squad depth in the summer. Couple of injuries and we will struggle.

Bernabei is certainly better going forward he's all over the place at the back at times.

At least one new centre half is a must.

Scales seems to have had a decent season for Aberdeen, wonder what his next for him ? If Ange goes, he might have a chance at Celtic, obviously Ange doesn't like him.

He wasn't great when he did play and was prone to lapses of concentration. He's not better than what Ange has at the moment.

A move to Aberdeen could be best for both parties.

I'm thinking he'll be offered to Aberdeen in an exchange for Barron - they'll also loan him back for the season

Thought he did OK for the majority of time he played but agree there was a few lapses. Dont think hes any worse than the left sided centre half from Japan, Kobayashi, who looks lightweight to say the least. We have needed a left back since Tierney left, how Greg Taylor is our first choice still baffles me, however I'm not sure which position Scales wants to play or where Ange sees him as. I'd like him to get a pre season under his belt as the loan spell would have done him the world of good.

He might stay another year for another crack at the CL, but if that goes pear shaped I think it'll be detrimental to him. Depends how ambitious he is really, on balance I think he'll go at the end of the season while his stock is at its highest.
