I would want Steve Clarke but I can't see that happening.

Clarke more or less ruled himself out last week though didn't he?

He did yeah.

Eddie Howe would be a good shout.

He could use Celtic as a stepping stone back into the EPL in a similar manner as Rodgers. Wouldn't be surprised to see Gerrard leave Rangers too.

Not that convinced with Howe very different set up at Bournemouth and Celtic.

Could he handle the pressure/expectation levels?

Gerrard will do one more season, realistically winning the league next season. Klopp will leave with Gerrard taking over with the red side of the city creaming themselves (and the blue side if they are smart). He'll be found out big time in England.

Agree about Howe. Can see why he appeals to some but very little pressure at Bournemouth, what do they play in front of 12k? Some belittle the managerial positions at Celtic and across the city due to the league, but there is very few environments as intense and pressurised and it takes a special character to handle it. It certainly looked like a step too far for Gerrard until Covid give him a reprieve.

Did Howe play a good brand of football? I see this said a lot, I never really watched them so cant say for sure, but whoever we get in needs to have an attacking approach thats easy on the eye, after the sh*te served up this season.

I don't know if he will go directly from Rangers to Liverpool. Liverpool is too big a gig if you ask me.

Would be foolish to go directly to Liverpool. Should take a job in the championship and try and take them up. Winning in Scotland nowadays doesn't necessarily prove a whole lot see Neil Lennon

Never mind him, could Mrs. Howe handle it?

Apparently he left Burnley after 18 months because his wife couldn't settle:

Yes, that's how I see it too.
Might also get a lower end EPL job too - but he needs to be careful about what job to take on, as he could prove a set back.

You're better off running the risk of being found out as Liverpool manager than being found out as Hull manager

Don't die wondering

Is the job after Klopp not going to be a bit of a hard act to follow. He's turned the club around and won the two major trophies

100% it is - Gerrard and his ego won't see it that way though.
