It's hard to know how much coefficient calculations come into it. Do you want Scotland to get a second UCL place or not? Obviously the more wins the better from that perspective. The other thing is, the higher the coefficient, the less qualifying rounds the Scottish champions have to play to make the group stages. The four rounds they have to play at the minute are an absolute joke.

Definitely not! The four rounds are a joke, but at least Celtic are still allowed to enter. For now.

Are the Irish lads wasting their time at Celtic?

None of Coffey, O'Connor, Afolabi and Connell anywhere near the first team, not even in squad for a dead rubber tonight, and they don't have a reserve league to play in.

They would want to be getting out on loan in Jan, O'Connor might have even got a game for Utd against Astana if he hung around

Their all in the development squad.

Robertson, Savoury and Dembele were called from the dev squad, they'll just need to work harder and earn their place rather than leaving and dropping down the leagues.

Frimpong has shown them that they will get a chance if they are good enough.

Connell, O'Connor and Afolabi weren't registered as Frimpong wasnt. Connell and O'Connor more highly rated within development squad than  Savoury or Coffey but they are classed as homegrown and dont need to be registered.

think if O'Connor had of been registered he would have got a game last night. was daft from lennon risking jullien and ajer, O'Connor probably would have done centre back.

poor performance last night, would have been nice to get a draw and stay unbeaten. ah well, bigger fish to fry!

Id like to see O'Connor get a chance at right back in the future. I've seen enough of Bauer.

Some of the fringe players proved last night why they arent getting a game. Found Lennon's praise of Ntcham misplaced, thought he was quite poor.

Positive note Griffiths got 90 mins and hes a better option upfront than Morgan. Young Robertson also had a good debut.
