Not really a laughing matter. Linked with a host of top players today, and not through the record either. Despite not having much experience he is a name and will attract players.

The Scott Brown Testimonial Committee has announced a number of charities which will benefit from the match, which is taking place this Sunday, May 20, 2018.

The match at Celtic Park, which will kick-off at at 2pm, features the Celtic first-team against a Republic of Ireland XI, paying tribute to a Celtic captain who has been one of the club’s greatest servants for more than a decade.

When the match was announced, it was confirmed that a proportion of the funds would be assisting the family of former Celtic midfielder Liam Miller, who tragically passed away in February of this year. Now a number of other charities have been named, covering a range of excellent causes close to Scott’s heart. The beneficiaries are as follows:

- Liam Miller Fund
- Celtic FC Foundation
- Simpson’s Special Care Babies
- Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity
- Kilbryde Hospice.

someone that isn't a deluded fan who realizes that if we don't invest in new players, lose half a team and The Rangers get 1 or 2 of the 50 players they're linked withthat they'll give us a serious challeng next season

I am delighted Rogic signed up for another 5 years. Probably the best bit of business Celtic will do all summer. Hopefully Tam can reproduce the goods from last years final. Leaving for Glasgow in a few hours. Forecast is for good weather, can’t beat a bit of Hampden in the sun. Hail Hail 🍀
