He's won a single trophy In 3 seasons. He's done well in the league this year, but it's been a year where the usual champions where nothing sort of horrendous. Gerards success is due to the failure of the other side to perform or even show up 90% of the time instead of pure genius from himself.

If Howe gets the side firing, the players he wants and his team. He will tactically out master Gerard with relative ease. None of Gerrards signings either scream a tactical masterstroke.

The word in Glasgow is that Michael Beale is the man behind the tactics at Rangers.

It’s just a series of random events that leave Celtic 20 points behind Rangers in the league, it will all be ok next season.

You would be in an extreme minority if you believe that. BTW, Gerrard paid £50000 for Glen Kamara. If that's not a masterstroke signing then what is?

Good decision to book Simpson there and refreshing to see it that early in a game

Very harsh say the co commentators McFadden and McCoist
Presumably an elbow to the side of the face is ok by their rules

The job ahead for Howe is huge. Rangers unsurprisingly are taking this in their stroll. A new player needed For each key position.

Dreadful

One of the many things would be that it would be nice if the Huns were penalised for the same fouls Celtic players commit though - would be a nice start
