AIK looked poor alright and Celtic always looked like they might concede. Still, a decent win and performance, even if I still think we might be better off going out. How do these lads get to referee these games though? That fella was awful, thankfully he was equally awful for both sides.

The referees in the qualifying rounds seem to be awful, not sure where the guy was from last night but you get a lot of refs from the smaller leagues doing these games and they are out of their depth. Though in saying that still probably an improvement on some of the clampets in Scotland!
That decision against Johnston sliding in on the keeper was ridiculous!

At least MK get booked for it. The referee should have booked the keeper in this instance, it really was embarrassing.
I thought, apart from one mis timed pass that Boli played well. |

Celtic were rumoured to be interested in Brentford LB Rico Henry, as a replacement for Tierney. Henry has just extended his contract with BFC, so that's ended that speculation:

Levein hates Celtic that much he’s claiming his players scored two own goals today, instead of having to credit them to Celtic players

I enjoyed a cracking day at Paradise yesterday comfortable victory and I had a bet on 3 1 to the Bhoys.

Very good performance
The ref gollum was atrocious as usual - never a penalty at the end as Julien was fouled in the move leading up to it Anything to keep goal difference down |

David Currie 🍀
@thedavidcurrie A former rangers season ticket holder refereeing the game on Sunday. Suppose it was either him or the guy photographed in the rangers pub last time. Only in this country |

See the first honest mistake made on sunday gone, the ref denying St. Mirn a clear pen at 0-0 in the match. Sportsound on BBC Scotland briefly mentioned it, instead they prefered to focus on how Rangers dug out a win while not playing well. Only 3 games in and its started....

It has been discussed on the Rangers’ thread. The referee got it right.

You'd almost miss the uproar over clear cut decisions during the off-season, it's great to have it back

Like the very obvious foul on the Rangers player?
