What a way to win it coming from a goal down. Terrible dive by Eddie but we'll take it. Lots of fans pissed off Lenny got the job. Only positive I can take from it is at least it isn't Moyes. I wonder if we lost today would the appointment been any different from the 2 managers I mentioned? Doubt it.

Don’t really think the European Cup and the ECWC have the same weighting.

A UEFA trophy is a UEFA trophy, whether it’s European Cup, Champions League, UEFA Cup, Europa League or ECWC

LOL

Ah here would you f**k off out of that.

Of course a CWC isn’t as prestigious as a European Cup/Champions League.
Just followed the same principle as used on this website for successful English clubs.
That is all.

History made with what was half of rocket Ronnie Deila’s team let’s enjoy the achievement and we can dissect the appointment at a later date

Half of Alex Ferguson’s European trophy wins are ECWC.

Celtic will be in pot 3 if they make it to the CL group stages, due to Atalanta's qualification for the CL

O'Donnell the killie right back looks certain to be one of Lenny's first buys

I do rate him but feel we could do much better, another cheap and cheerful option

He's a good defender but he would be doing a helluva lot more attacking at Celtic.... hopefully anyway lol

John O’Donnell
@Johnodonnell_88
Paddy Roberts on a 3 year deal apparently, 4.9m fee with 10% sell on.

(From a very good friend whose involved with the club.)

I for one would be delighted with this! HH

I'd be happy with the signing - not the fee though, 3.5 max for him as he's out of contract this summer

He's done nothing past 2 seasons though....injury blight at Celtic, then couldn't shake Forrest in good form/never got going this season at Getafe

A right winger isn't exactly a priority. Would prefer the money was spent elsewhere

Hayes, 31, said: “From a selfish point of view, the gaffer’s been great for me. I told him after the final on Saturday that he’s been brilliant for the team.

“His enthusiasm is infectious, and it’s great to have him around the place.
“Neil Lennon doesn’t get the credit he deserves — it’s something we’ve spoken about in the dressing room.

“There’s probably been a bit of fatigue, but we’ve played something like 180 games in the last three seasons, and you don’t get to take your foot off the gas at Celtic.
“As a result, some of our performances have probably looked a little lethargic, and the manager’s been getting the blame for that rather than the players.

“But when we haven’t been up to scratch, like in the recent defeat to Rangers at Ibrox, it’s the players who have to shoulder the responsibility for the way we’ve sat off the play.
“The way we’ve trained has been identical to the successful methods established by Brendan Rodgers.
“Neil has picked up where Brendan left off. I’ve loads of Celtic fans in my family, and they weren’t too pleased when Brendan moved to Leicester — but he still deserves a
huge amount of credit for what he built here.
"The new gaffer’s continued with that so any blame for the fact we’ve not been winning games 3-0 or 4-0 can be put down to the fact that some players, like Kieran Tierney, Callum McGregor and James Forrest, have been playing non-stop for three years."

if roberts is coming back it probably means that forrest might be off to join the rat

the same might be said for mcgregor if it's to be believed he has been down in leicester

priorities
GK
starting right back
cover left back
centre halfs x2
broony replacement
box to box midfielder
strong no 9
poacher if grif is away

that should be the minimum imo

shved in looks a real good on but let's see
