Westwood stuck in limbo at Sheffield Wednesday. An interesting theory put forth here as to why Wednesday should play him.

Good news for Ireland, a keeper who will be playing Championship football every week under Tony Pulis. Especially with Randolph warming the West Ham bench and promising youngsters in their early days of their careers.

Himself and MON had previous which has massively hampered his caps total. He was seen as the natural successor to Given.

Good to see him back because Randolph could use the competition, but there's no escaping the fact he is past his best. He was already making mistakes by the time Jos Luhukay dropped him from the team.

Pulis had glowing praise for him though, and he's only out for a fortnight, so hopefully by January Westwood will be established as first choice and Kelleher will get that loan move, preferably to the Eredivisie.

Then we'll be looking a bit healthier.

Pity Kelleher couldn’t get out but he should be banging down the door to get a loan move in Jan if possible harder for a keeper tbf in Jan. Has had a good grounding at Liverpool etc but needs to put that grounding into practice now.
