Oh, Christ, was forced to watch this shyte at work for the longest time and basically it is about a gyno who can't act, this wife, a lawyer who is a right royle pain in the ass, and their kids who have to be the very best at everything or else they are kicked out. But I have to say Lisa Bonet is still some good looking thing and she was always out of place in that show. Oh dear, grumpy old man strikes again.....

Back in the day on a Sunday night, The Cosby Show was untouchable. Apart from going to the hospital, it was the only time when we would see black people and the only time they would be on telly in a staring role.
It was groundbreaking as it highlighted the fact, that when blacks were portrayed on telly they weren't just in gangs or drug dealers or members of the A-Team. Alex Foley got the ball rolling but it was the Cosby's who brought it mainstream and showed that they were equal to whites and could be Doctors and Lawyers.
