He was unlucky, but we'll have more wins down the line.

Think Joseph O Briens horse, bachelor, in the 6.10 in kempton is a pretty good each way bet. His first run on the all weather a month ago was not bad, coming from quite a bit off the pace to run on for a good sixth place. That was his first run in nearly 4 months so should leave him spot on for today. He steps up a furlong in trip which is also sure to suit. Fran Berry on board is a major positive. He's also been dropped 2 pounds for the last night which was generous in my eyes, this lightly races horse had some serious animals behind him on his first run last year. He's only ran 5 times since with excuses a few times.
Joseph has had 9 runners on the all weather in Britain, 2 winners and 4 placings. At 14/1 with bet365 I'm going to have point each way and a point win. 3 Pts total. I'm going to try to post more frequent tips here, they won't be daily but i'll post up whenever I have a fancy. Hopefully it can be profitable. Max bet will be 5 points and I can track how it is going by this. 1 point for me will be a 10er.

Well that was a successful start. Bachelor got up under a very smooth Fran Berry ride. The 14/1 disappeared almost immediately after I posted yesterday! So for the purposes of tracking these bets and to keep it realistic 11/1 was available almost everywhere when I posted. So I'll work off that.
3 points staked 27.2 points returned. I should quit now with that return on investment! I think I've one that might represent some value today. Lungarno Palace in the 2.50 in lingfield. This former ballydoyle inmate is without a win for nearly 3 years. However being without a win that long means you slip down the weights. He came a decent 3rd three runs ago in a class 4 and that run would see him win this. He's slipped down 14 pounds for 3, it must be said pretty poor runs, but that kind of a slip in weights is always going to give you a major chance. His last run was the best of his last 3 and it showed some signs of a potential return to form. The trainer had a winner yesterday so that's a positive. There's a sneaky suspicion that this horse is better on grass but I think he's value today in what looks to be a pretty poor race. I'm sure this horse will be winning soon and hopefully it will be today. It's trappy and I'm not going mad. 1 point win at 12/1 which is available almost everywhere.

2nd place @ 10/1 will do alright!
Finished strongly, but was untidy going round the final bend and lost a bit of ground there drifting out to its right

Pretty unlucky I thought. The poor last turn really slowed the challenge. Still, was good value at this morning's price and if we can keep getting that kind of value there will be money made.
