I thought Koke was Generation Z. Looked up his date of birth and it turns out he's an Alminium.

Germans will be confident of getting through to the last 16 now. Can't see Spain getting anything other than a win against Japan which would mean any sort of a win would do Germany

I did rewatch it! He doesn’t control the ball initially but passes the ball to Laporte who is under no pressure at all who then attempts to run with the ball and play a ball that wasn’t on, Laporte then goes to close Sane down when he didn’t need to with Busquets in position and leaves his marker who eventually scores! Laporte makes two errors leading to the goal and you blame Balde LOL

Thought Morata did decent enough tonight. Well taken goal, got his head to the dangerous German free kick and defended the near post well with clearing headers on a corner or two.

I think so far John Champion is my preferred match commentator on ITV. A lot of mediocre commentators on the go. Good voice for me. Himself and Ally McCoist did a game the other night. I dont actually mind Ally to be fair.

Agreed!

McCoist is excellent, also like Andros Townsend and Dion Dublin as Co-commentators.

Jenas, Lee Dixon, Danny Murphy and John Hartson all terrible.

Corruption hasn't stopped Argentina or Brazil. Usually poor kids playing all day on the streets has produced great players but not in Mexico. It's an outlier.
