Or the 13 European teams, 3 didn't get a win.

Rather selective,

For the 18 non-European teams include eg Brazil, Argentina, Japan and S.Korea and no-one is arguing against those teams being in Qatar.

Whereas if you look at the 5 African teams for example, the only games they won in 8 meetings with European teams were Tunisia 1 v 0 France Reserves (i.e. 3rd game), and Morocco 2 v 0 Belgium.

While all the 13 European teams were in a group with another European team except Netherlands and Portugal, who both topped their groups, and Poland, who qualified for the Last 16 behind Argentina.

While piling on extra African teams could mean eg  Mali, Burkina Faso or Cabo Verde? From Asia it might be Iraq, Oman or Uzbekistan?. And from CONCACAF, maybe Panama, El Salvador or Honduras? (All those teams are near the top of their Confederation rankings).

Meaning once the novelty had worn off, you'd be left with garbage who likely wouldn't win a game (unless playing each other).

Though the Senegalese fans at these finals were highly entertaining, I'll give them that!

I know they took over another football club in Bray...taking over an entire country may be beyond them though

Gibraltar? Local to both, I suppose.

Anything, two things occur to me: 1. Can't get used to Spain playing in a strip borrowed from Man. City; and 2. They badly need a proper No.9.

I mean, even Guardiola had one, first Aguero and now Haaland.

You must be joking? One of the most entertaining group stages in tournament history. Last 16 has been average at best, some mouth watering ties in store for QFs at least

In tournament history? What are you on?? Is this your 1st WC? LOL
