We’ve loads of reasons to dislike them from previous encounters. Their current manager was a pain in the hoop to us when he was playing. This incarnation of their team isn’t as annoying to me anyway.

Yah they're sickenly consistent in qualifying without pulling up too many trees at major tournaments.

Would be way more interest among us neutrals if Italy were there instead of them. Cry

From having tangled with them a couple of times in recent years, including a play-off finals, NI fans also dislike the Swiss.

At least they're not as arrogant as the Danes. Really hope they get knocked out at the group stage.
Actually it is their arrogance which makes them hard to like, in our experience. For example, after they luckily won the 1st play-off leg 1-0 in Belfast, courtesy of a penalty they conned the ref over, Shaquiri declared that the party could begin.

Yet in the return leg, it took a last minute goal-line clearance for them to hang on and secure a 0-0 draw to avoid extra time.

Besides, any team which has the loathesome Xhaka as its captain have got to be a job lot of scrotes.

When did Inaki Williams start playing for Ghana. Had to google it. Obviously had zero interest up until this world cup. I see Tariq Lamptey on the bench for them also. Both seem to have Ghanaian parents though.

Who's the Nico Williams that plays for Spain? I assumed it was him pronounced differently

With the players Portugal have they should be one of the favourites. I think they will be lucky to get out of the group

The Senegal lads dance from start to finish, they must be knackered. Would love to go to an AFCON, be some atmosphere.

WtF are the RTE panel on about. That was a clear foul by Ronaldo for his disallowed goal. Not even a question. Why dont they shut the fook up about him. All the time.

Nico is much younger! Will be better than his brother.
