Funny you should say that, was on the list. Wanted to go somewhere central for pints after. Highly recommend manifesto in rathmines and cirillos on merrion row for real Naples pizza.

They do excellent pizzas. They have a Sicilian pizza oven or something fancy that only a few places in Europe have.

It would damage this forums' reputation

Would very rarely get a steak in a restaurant. The price of it alone would put you off.

I would usually go for something that you can't really cook at home.

Yeah same.

Makes it a bit awkward when in FX Buckleys and the waiter comes out and takes 3 minutes explaining all the different cuts of steak and then asks what you having?

Used to only get steak in a restaurant in Dungarven. Few years back was €22-€24 depending on the cut. Not it’s €30. Way to overpriced.

I’d agree in general but I don’t see the point in going to a steak restaurant and not getting a steak!

Well normally the restaurant was selected by the group. Or if I am with the missus she will give me half of hers anyway so I get to sample the menu.
Steak from there is lovely too to be fair but actually the fish and chips they use to do was one of the nicest around. Seems to have gone off the menu post-covid
