Darwins is great. Fine steaks and a good atmosphere.

The white friar grill across the road is also a nice spot

Went to Sophie's the other week with the family .
I had 1/2 a chicken from the rotisserie with home made chips , gravy and a side of fresh coleslaw . It was only delicious and €12 or 15 euro but I can't remember . Herself and the kid had pancakes with orange butter and blueberries . They said they were tasty .
All in all we were all happy and well fed and the price was reasonable . Great location with a lovely view or the city centre

Any recommendations for a place in town next Sat for the wifes birthday.

Somewhere similar to Fire. Ideally with some decent boozers close by too.

Going to 777 tonight, have heard great things so really looking forward to it.

Tried Mick Wallace's place in Inchicore last night. Very happy with it and early bird was very good value.

The wan on Wilton Terrace? I'd wrap up well if I were you...
