Was replying to NR's post. Smile
I could agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.

Hophouse Kimchi on Parnell Street, lovely Korean restaurant attached on to the pub next door (Shakespeares?). Lovely food with a seemingly authentic cultural mash up.
Nobody really knows why we're here. We just are.

Any recommendations on the best Mexican food in Ireland? Sit in or takeaway.

I think Boojum has dropped in standard from what it was like a couple of years ago.

Guapo in Derry is nice although I haven't been there in a while.

Burrito Loco in Letterkenny is very good and can see why it won JustEats best takeaway in Ireland.

Tolteca and Saburrito are perhaps the only two I have tried in Dublin. Thought Saburrito was lovely.

Theres one called Acapulco in Queens up in stanmillis (think another place same name in East Belfast) but you have to go into the queens building and down the stairs. Its actually quite nice but the portions are abysmal so you won't be back for that reason alone.

Agree with ya that Boojum is getting a bit stale, would go to Chalcos on Lisburn Rd in Belfast every so often just to get their 3 meat burrito as it is definitely a decent eat.

777 on George's St is a seriously good top end Mexican restaurant. Best bet is go on a Sunday where all dishes are €7 bob. Bloody expensive otherwise. You can't book though.

Had a work lunch there during the summer NR and it was top class. Used to be the hotspot for the blue rinse brigade but they've modernised it and with touch of class. Also had our Xmas do downstairs in their Speakeasy last year. Good gang working there.

On O'Connell Street? Used to be a family style place with a decent steak but completely changed now - nice looking place. Do a good and very reasonably priced breakfast but haven't had a proper meal there - this review is probably f**k all use to you now that I think of it but I've started so I'll finish.

They do jazz/comedy nights too with cheap gargle.
