You should make a thread PM of things in life that you actually like or find acceptable

Where did I say I didn't like it or find it unacceptable, as implied? I merely don't understand it.

A list of things I find acceptable would be near to endless!

These 'Sweet 16' Birthdays are now rampant among skangers following that sh*te MTV programme a few years ago.

When I turned 16, i drank a bag of cans and went to the Temple Theatre with a fake ID. Same as every other weekend!

Reading novels by American writers that have Irish characters or characters of Irish descent. The paddywhackery makes me wince.

Those people need a good kick in the hole. He's probably sitting beside you on the couch love, just fooking tell him instead of fishing for likes or comments
Worse are the ones who check into a hospital with no comment, just check in. Waiting for the "oh honey is everything ok" posts. Goons
Some people just deserve a slap

I suppose we all have different ways of viewing things, but I do not understand the need to 'check-in' anywhere(not find acceptable or unacceptable, RB).
Why do you need to tell anybody you're having a pint, a sandwich or a heart-transplant. Surely anybody that needs to know these things will be already informed?

I find it good when giving my alibi 😀

It was good on away trips to keep away from certain bars and go to others Smile

Also find it good to track where you have been to go back again when it’s good etc.

If a place is good when you check in you usually get notified of any deals they have etc.  I.e basic marketing and advertisement. Also it’s a way of sharing good places with your
Mates or acquaintances.  None of really important and it’s all pretty superficial but no harm either
AKA pedantic kunt

Surely if a place is that good you remember it? Fair enough reponse, just don't see the need. I guess I just don't like people I know knowing where I am, that's the whole point of going out!

Tbf Irish people, or at least the Irish media, are very happy to play up to the Irish "dim witted and happy go lucky" stereotype when they talk to Americans.

So it's not as if the country as a whole is doing it's best to shed the paddywhackery vibes
