Carvery is muck.  There is a chain in England called Toby Carvery.  The only thing they have is beef of gammon with Yorkshire pudding and veg and gravy.

They are absolutely rotten! Everything tastes as if it has been cooked for about six years.

I worked in a 4 star hotel whereby you'd eat your dinner off the floor.

Cleanliness was off the scale, top marks on everything but the carvery food was stored in buckets. Not a lot wrong with that but it's just not fresh.

I'd rather make my own.

Why would they have carvery in four star hotel? It is cheap, fill-yer-boots food. Nothing wrong with it when it is done well, but I didn't even think you'd get a fourth star if that is what you offered.

I worked in a pub and they did the same with the mash. They're make it the day prior and put it in the fridge. It's hardly an impossible task to make fresh mash on the day.

Some cracking carverys and some brutal ones. Deli food is all the same bland sh*te. In fairness there some decent non chain delis as in small family run types where the food is good. But anything out of a Centra, Spar or Mace for example is all sh*te.

I agree with you to an extent, but I have to say that Centra's spicy chicken is f*ckin lovely in a roll

There's one just over the Leeson Street bridge on the way out of town that does fresh turkey and ham in their deli, quality stuff.

Another advert on telly, the one where he has an app for his doorbell. Firstly, he is a smug looking prick whose face makes you want to pick up a crowbar, but what sort of burglar rings the doorbell? I would imagine very few people do, even less now that burglars know that they know they are going to be hooked up to someone's phone, especially if they might have to talk to a **** like him.

Is it a fair question to ask why you watch the ads PM? They seem to cause you some amount of annoyance.
