Should be a good final.
Rovers have arguebly the best squad in the country , while Dundalk have players like Quigley and Kearns who are more than able to produce moments of quality to win games.

City till i die !!!!!!!!!

I think its a no brainer that if its in Tallaght both teams will get 40% of the tickets with the rest beeing pissed about by Setanta. Have to say I was very disappointed with the crowd last night, think the United match and the fact we were 2-0 didnt help, but at the end of the day it was a semi final so I cant understand why people didnt turn up

Can't see Dundalk bringing 3000 to Tallaght myself. How many do you think you'll bring Shoco?

On last night Sligo were well beaten again 4-2-4 was never going to work for Cooke .Very poor crowd(by rvs standards ) suppose it backs up what everyone has been saying,  i think we have seen the last of the setanta Cup  Cry

Partly agree there ps. Fair enough to go for it early at the start being 2 goals behind but after going for it and geting the early goal the 4-2-4 system wasnt a good idea as you said. Should have tightened up after the goal cause there was 85 minutes to get another goal. Cookie is a fine manager but can let him self down with tactics sometimes.

At 18 years of age Horgan looks a real find, only player that done well for us.

Great to hear he's doing well.

Poor crowd can be put down to a few factors I suppose, people prioritising their finances, supporters having their own midweek schoolboy/junior match or training and the lack of attraction of the competition itself.  Agree though, this could be its final year, Nordies don't seem to able to compete properly in it.

Agree with you on that, and talking to a few Rovers fans last night they think it'll be 50/50 split between both clubs for qty of tickets
