Tends to happen when you're not playing very often. He needs a consistent run of games to get back to his best.
We're decent enough..

Thought he had a solid game in the end, never going to be the best with the ball at this feet but did his defensive job well as usual.

Very sad news indeed, had the pleasure of having a few pints with the Duffys on the eve of the Gibraltar match in Gibraltar. Only 53. May he rest in peace.

What happened?
I've seen him at a number of the games alright.
It was far across the sea,
When the devil got a hold of me,
He wouldn't set me free,
So he kept me soul for ransom.

Shocking news. We had the pleasure of meeting him and sharing a taxi up to the ground in Copenhagen for the playoff in 2017. So proud of his son representing his country. RIP

Duffy on the bench with Connolly today,

Cant say that Duffy has had a good season, what with injury and being unable to get into the first team when available

Still a cert for Ireland, especially with Ciaran Clark out injured. Others on their teams' bench today include Arter and Christie ( Fulham ), Williams ( Millwall ), Knight ( Derby ), Shodipo ( QPR ), Ward and McClean ( Stoke ).

One of the first names on the teamsheet I would have thought. O'Shea  disappointingly dropped to the bench for WBA, but it was heartening to see Collins start for Stoke.

Great to see Duffy back. Thought he did well and himself and Dunk didn't give Vardy a sniff.
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

I appreciate its Man City but the fact that Duffy can't get into that Brighton defence is very strange.

He's a better defender than any of them and yet not a good enough footballer at the same time.

Basically it's not going to work out for him in a Potter managed team and he needs a move. I'd imagine there would be a few Premier League sides interested, just not a team that looks to play out from the back every time.
