A bigger club may come calling..he offers alot. Scores plenty.

I found for Ireland last month he had noticeably improved on the ball compared to previous. He's still not perfect on it but is a lot better then what he was. Wonder had he worked on this a bit on his days off. He's fitter too he mentioned this.

I genuinely think that's why Potter is more trusting of him now he's back in form. Now if White was there he wouldn't be starting perhaps and wed be saying something different.

He's playing very well and his passing has very noticeably improved, but Lamptey is back fit again and will take the RWB role that Veltman (who has also played as the RCB) is currently playing, so while everything is currently looking rosey, there's no guarantee Duffy keeps his place over the course of the season. Dunk is a shoo-in, Webster also when he gets back fit, so Duffy is fighting it out with Burn and Veltman for the third CB role. Playing well though, so it's his to lose and he's looking undroppable atm tbf, but he has further challenges to overcome.

In previous campaigns, I was really critical of his distribution, especially the attempted 50 yard diagonal balls that always went out of play. His improvement in his general passing has been brilliant though. He was even finding his target with those diagonal balls against Arsenal on Saturday.

He's definitely slimmer and has found an extra bit of pace too. In the Brighton backline, it's Dunk who seems to be the liability instead of Duffy, which is not something we could say in previous seasons.

Great to see him turn his career around. No better sight seeing him attack set-pieces.

Another solid defensive performance from the comeback King. I had to double take when he missed his header such is the aerial threat.

Could have had 2 goals today but good to see other players are in and around the goals for a change

Can we just take a second to appreciate Duffy. This is the same fella hitting the ball out of play like a fly half against Bulgaria. He has improved so much on the ball its scary and it's definitely come from relentless practice on the training ground.

He's genuinely a decent ball playing defender now by anyone's standards and it's not hard to see why Potter trusts him more. Fairplay to him and when Coleman retires Duffy is our next captain.

He was always a top player. The personal pressures that affected him at Celtic are well known now and despite the lapse in form that those events inflicted, he still managed to win a Scottish Cup medal with them and he is now back to his best with Brighton and Ireland. Terrific to see and he's going to be a big player in every sense of the expression for both for quite some time to come.

It was very good the two towering defenders coupled with the amount of dead ball specialists in the team Hourihane Cullen Mcgrath is a huge asset and despite all the great football it must be cherished. Astonishing the amount of decent dead ball players in our squad so many teams can't find one.

On Duffy he was always a top defender but Potter put him out the side initially when he came in for a reason he wasn't good on the ball. He's improved an astonishing amount on that even compared to Hungary in June. He's clearly practised a huge amount on the training ground it's evident.

He is the best Duffy we have seen full stop, his form hasn’t just got back to what it was he is like a new man altogether with how he is playing. His performances are up there with great CBs of days gone past lately while always having the aerial threat.

Agree with that Andy. In terms of consistency and confidence, it's definitely the best we've seen him play. In previous campaigns, he's always been great aerially and with blocks in our box. But his passing has improved so much, to a level I didn't think he'd ever get close.

I'd written him off as a defender who can play a higher line, but he's shown he can now.

Also played a part in the 3rd goal dribbling past a couple of players before the ball gets to Hendrick.

Would love to know what he did to improve on the ball so much. I do think there were nerves and confidence issues making him look worse than he was but taking those into account, I still think he has improved on the ball with regards to his control particularly.

I have an image in my head of him hammering a ball off a wall all summer long.

Also, he got a fantastic ovation editing the pitch tonight. I think he is really feeling the love. If you remember Seamus Coleman's passionate backing of him in, I think, March and now the support. It's great to see him being rallied around.

I feared he was only going to go one way. What an incredible turnaround. He has been absolutely brilliant.

I wasnt always his biggest fan. Found him a bit too oafish for my liking and that was evident in some of his play. Lashing a simple 10 yard pass to a team mate and often a bit clumsy. But seriously, what a transformation. I watched his post match chat with TOD too. Came across very well.

Impressed Thumbs Up

Would agree with that. His game appears to have been taken to a whole new level this season for both club and country. Particularly impressive given he's just come off the worst season of his career.

I think a lot of it might be down to fitness, he just looked so out of shape at Celtic last year. There were rumours about some of the players there employing their own personal fitness coaches as the standard of the club fitness training was so bad under the previous setup. Obviously Duffy had added off field problems also which weren't helping.

I know from playing a lot of football myself that, when you're at peak fitness, you can do things that's you can't do when you are out of shape. When the fitness isn't there, the football brain goes with it and your technical game suffers. As well as looking much more technically competent, I've seen him make a number of last ditch tackles and interceptions in the last few weeks that he just wouldn't have made last season because he was way out of shape for a pro footballer.
