They need a top class manager and a rebuild of course. Eddy and the likes aren't going to there next season and Rangers will strengthen their squad. Hiring Lennon was a disgrace of a decision, apart from last season, Lennon hasnt won the league without Gers having a point deduction or not even being in the league.

Celtic need a substantial rebuild in order to compete with Rangers next year starting with a top class manager.

Instagram have told @SkySportsNews they will take no action against a user who sent Celtic defender Shane Duffy sectarian abuse and mocked his father’s death.

They believe the abuse was an isolated incident because the user deleted the messages and apologised.

Serious question: would an apology have been enough if a player had been racially abused?

You asked if I'd be anyone from history, fact or fiction, dead or alive:
I said "I'd be Tony Cascarino, circa 1995"

So he kept me soul for ransom.

In relation to Duffy, an avowed and enthusiastic Celtic supporter, and someone who seems to to be struggling mentally after the death of his father? I think so.

Look at the way a loyal servant Lennon was treated. But that's Scotland for you...

That's not to say Rangers supporters are any better, if not many times worse.

Managers and footballers who consistently under-perform and then receive abuse is solely limited to Celtic and its fans, is it? Welcome to the world of football, ffs Disapprove

Nobody's suggesting that. And I, like many in Ireland, have grown up with a huge affection for Celtic. But for Celtic supporters to abuse a Celtic player, and fan, who's suffered gone through recent personal adversity and is obviously finding things difficult just now, really isn't a great look.

It’s not nice but that’s the reality of football fans. It wouldn’t be different at any other club tbf. I feel sorry for him in a way, especially about his old man, but he’s a professional and realistically he has been disgracefully poor this season and I don’t say that lightly.

He's indesputably been poor. But 'disgracefully' so? At the very least he's a a committed and wholehearted trier who always works hard. He's a Celtic supporter for goodness sake.

He made a poor choice in joining Celtic. Celtic are such a huge club, he didn't need that spotlight and extra attention at this point in his life.

But what can you say? He followed his dream.

It matters not a jot if he is a professional or not, for anybody that looses a loved one that they were very close to it can have a huge effect on you mentally,  and for anybody to use that against any person is the lowest of the low they would not be supporters more just low life scum, only SD will know the torment he is enduring since his fathers passing, Shane could well be his own downfall by not reaching out.
Just because it's tradition does not make it right
