The lad you're on about is a spoofer. He's constantly making up groundless rumours about players, mostly Irish ones. Just a few weeks ago he claimed that an "unnamed" PL club was in for Alan Browne.

Exactly this is where Duffy himself and his agent need to show a bit of cop on and burst the bloody doors down for a move and get one pronto. He is some big English club blowing Brighton out of it with stupid money for Dunk (He’s English so very possible) away from being stuck in a complete rock and a hard place and he will be kept for back up and to warm the bench.

There is a twitter account called @ExWHUemployee who leaks some information about West Ham over the years, he has said that they are in for Duffy, loan with a view to buy.

It could be a decent move for him though, he definitely still has something to offer at PL level and David Moyes probably won't be as concerned about having ball playing defenders as some other managers in the league would be.

Neil Lennon confirmed Celtic interest.

Would hope Duffy is smart enough to stay away from SPL. Majority of teams in the league at English League 1 level. 

He is still capable of playing in the Premier League.

Which is true but he'd get maybe 6 games in the CL that would be at a level comparable to the Premier League and the rest miles worse.

Celtic would be a waste of time unless he's playing Champions League football there, which is by no means a guarantee.

It seems to be a straight either/or choice between Celtic and West Ham now. Meanwhile, John Egan has signed a new four year deal with Sheffield United. Onwards and upwards.
