Usually yeah. The screen you get when you press the middle button should have a little battery meter somewhere on it. Top left I think.

I reckon it could be a problem with the game, anytime my batteries died the controller just stops mid-game, pain in the hoop when you're playing FIFA!
If the games are actin up, load the games onto the system before playing! |

Unless you want to be sending away your Xbox for repairs every two weeks because of the red rings of doom, I would just get the PS3.

Nah no PS3 Andy, PS2 is my latest so i'm in bad need of an upgrade!!
I've rang the local Tesco to see if they have any 99yoyo ones, still waitin on word back, not overly pushed about online play tbh!! |

ah yeah Elite would be the business. You got a PS3 Podge? Both are basically the same in terms of how the game plays. But I rather PS3 because of free online play, Blue Ray and then never had a problem with memory. You won't have that problem with the Elite and could probably download load of films too, but you would need to pay 60 Euro a year to have xbox live (and so play online games)

Well ya should look into the price of a harddrive cos the arcade xbox 360 is goin for 99 in tesco at the moment ,could just add the hardrive to it if they are cheap

I won't be gettin that so!! Might get the Elite either, 120 gb would be plenty!! Anyone know where I'd get the best deal? Smyths? Gamestop? Game? Argos? |

Got the arcade but was a mistake. Can't even download a demo. Have to delete games to add new games etc

Get one with a hard drive anyway. Less hassle. The new slimline one looks nice and I think it has wireless built in ( would have to check that) which is a big plus.
