Given our best two players were missing today McGeady and Wyke a very good win and performance. Touch of class from Chris Bhoy Maguire with his cameo display. Ross Stewart and the Gooch played well.

Good to get back to winning ways anyway, We need a bit of momentum going in to the playoffs and nice to see maguire making a difference, It's hard not to be a bit jealous seeing Peterborough celebrating their promotion but we can't think about that now, Everyone at Sunderland has to regroup and focus on the playoffs, We still have a chance of going up and that's all that matters

Right enough kev hopefully three cup finals ahead for Sunderland. I'd start Maguire on Sunday. Hope our bogey side Charlton don't make the play offs.

Looks like Josh Vokins could be in contention for Sunday having fully recovered from covid and played for the Sunderland U23's yesterday. He's been out since March. I wonder if Southampton will let SAFC keep him for the play offs?

Draw probably a fair result.
Well capable of beating Lincoln in the semi but you never quite know with Sunderland!

Total lottery now. Oxford have made the play-offs for the second year running after again having a terrible start to the season and coming good at the end. Sykes and Shodipo best of their Irish contingent. I would not be surprised if they beat Blackpool. Sunderland can beat Lincoln but there is little between the two sides. They've already won at Wembley this season so that has to be a factor if they can get there again.

Managed to get at Sunderland ticket for the play offs home leg of the semi final.
Only 10k tickets and I'm one of 12k season tickets holders for this season. So have I been lucky or unlucky? |

Sunderland reported to have put in a bid for young Man Utd keeper Jacob Carney, who is also wanted by Brighton and Burnley. He has been on loan at Portadown in the Irish League this season and has been outstanding for them.

Good to see SAFC central midfielder Caden Kelly being called up to the Ireland U19s training camp at Loughborough University. Best of luck to him.
