Charlie Methven says he is going to the write to the government about the severe implications of covid to the league one and two clubs.

That should do the trick.

Embarrassed

I have no idea who Charlie Methven is but it would be class if he was a Crystal Palace supporter

Charlie is a shareholder in the club who has criticised the supporters of Sunderland in the past.

On a positive note good to see young Daniel Neil signing a thre year contract he looks a real talent.

Purely on chances created Sunderland should have beaten Charlton today but with Flanagan getting sent off one point is a decent return.

Eight points from four games in a reasonable start to the season for SAFC I'd say.

Any news on McGeady? 30k a week is a lot of money for a guy who isn't playing.

Aido not been linked with any other club and training with the young players.

Yer man on the local radio station was saying  that he has a minor injury.

I thought Doughty looked good going forward but not so good when defending.

Parkinson is being headstrong on McGeady. He is putting together a squad that should feature in the mix for promotion but McGeady has shown his quality and was the best player in the division when he was playing. I believe he could be the difference between going up and staying in the third tier with the potential for further decline. Good managers can handle awkward cusses/ prima donnas when they have to and Parkinson should bite the bullet.

Parkinson is cutting off his nose to spite his face.

Poor management.

Useful workout against Carlisle last night.

Hume Diamond and Neil played well.

This was a sparkling goal!

Good doc on the 'Jarrow March' 85th anniversary next year.
I presume most of Sunderland clapped them on DM. Wink
