Some reports saying Bain will be taking advice from Moyes for the choice of the next Sunderland Manager.

Bizarre if true.

I have got a horrible feeling Bain will go for some of his other Scottish mates like Alex McLeish Alex Neil etc. Thumbs Down

If Short isnt going to give badly needed funds to try and get back up straight away then an old hand is needed to steady the ship who can work with a very small budget.

Im warming to see McCarthy return if that was the case.

Obviously if Short is prepared to dig deep then try and get someone like Silva from Hull or Monk from Leeds.

Rumours that Walter Smith is giving Bain advice on the recruitment of the new manager. Jobs for the feckin boys.

I'm not sure if Mick Mac would want the job given how he was treated by the then owner Bob Murray.

I think Silva and Monk are reasonable shouts though.

Delighted to see Moyes finally go. That said reports saying Supa Kev is after the job despite what Michael Gray has been saying I don't think he is the right man for the job.
