Been taking vitamin tablets for the last few years and it seems to keep away the flu for me. Before that i'd get the flu at least 3 times a year

Had it last Tuesday and caught it in time so got over it quickly enough but have had a chesty cough for about a week that's proving difficult to shake. I just can't pay 50 quid to ask for antibiotics which will be another bit on top of that. Going swimming in the Shannon in Ballina probably didnt help me much to be fair.

RIP Sham.

Get yisser selves some echinacea and some chaga mushrooms. Also Reishi and maitake. All Proven immune system boosters. Tumeric is proven to help too. And no, this is not woo woo pseudo science. Thumbs Up

Rossie, may not be a cold at all. Could be an allergy. You could try taking anti histamines.

On the subject of colds, after nearly 10 weeks, I've finally shaken off a persistent sore throat/cough.

Rossie , that's defo hay fever, had the f**king thing two years before I copped it. Try a anti histamine and see if it goes away

I dont think it is RM as I can get those symptoms all year round and I think pollen isn't in the air in the winter months.
