wat do people make of that, happy with just 4th sounds a bit rediculous if ya ask me, that squad is more than capable of winning the league so to say they will settle for fourth must be very anoying for fans!

All they are missing is a Scholes/Gerrard type player who can see passes others don't. I don't know why they are playing De Jong and Toure in midfield if they are playing three up front.

When Balotelli is back they might change it.

Johnson--Milner--Toure--Silva
Balotelli--Tevez

That would be pretty sweet.

Johnson comes out today saying he'll hav to think about leaving if he doesnt get more games

Imagine Fergie had Johnson in his squad, he'd be a regular and would be one of the top players in the league

An adventurous manager would revert City to 4-4-2 -

Hart

Boateng Toure Kompany Kolarov

Johnson Toure De Jong Silva

Balotelli Tevez

that team is capable of challenging for the title imo. Milner could also fit in the centre of midfield on occasions where he starred for Villa last season

Id agree with that- he had the choice of united and city at the time apparently and signed for city- id say he is regretting that now- why did he get rid of bellamy? Toure looks lost when he is playing- what position does he play for City- he always seems to just wander around- dont think i seen him in an oppositions box at barca now he makes loads of mazy runs forward
It took City 44 years to win the league and 10 months to lose it

Bellamy and him had numerous bust-ups, think he was just shipping out a problem player even though he was City's best last season

Toure has been played in an advanced midfield position, although he is better on the ball than i thought, he just isn't comfortable in that position

Milner would never have earned his move to City if it weren't for O'Neill reverting him to CM last season when he was so impressive, he was always only an avergae winger.

Why not play Milner in the attacking midfield role?? Confused

dont think milner is worth the dough or worth his place
from what i have seen of city johnson is very impressive and balotelli looks class.

mancini doesnt seem to be the man for the job , when jose came in at chelsea you knew immediately he was a man to be reckoned with , but in fairness he is a once off..

Don't think United were after him. I think it was Chelsea, Newcastle and Liverpool.

hows that Mancini v Hughes head to head record looking now lads?

his signings are really starting to show some great form now - Silva and Yaya in particular

he just needs to get Balotelli to settle down a bit - why's he so angry all the time?

Mancini will probably spend January getting rid of the flops that Hughes brought in - Santa Cruz, Lescott, Adebayor, Bridge and Tevez! Wink

In fairness it's not exactly hard to sign good players with the budget he has.

Also, not a hope Harry will allow Bale to leave Spurs.
