Train takes 4-5 hours. You can buy a rake of drink to fill the time!!

Ya we're going this route. Getting the 4PM train from Prague direct to Zilina. Two hours between flight landing and train leaving which gives plenty of time to get to the train station, buy our tickets and get a rake load of cans for the journey, good times

Train after 4pm to Zilina goes at 22:00 to Bratislava 17:29 or 23:11.
If you go to Bratislava you will have to go on tuesday another 3hrs to Zilina. My advice is have a 1,2,3 ...pints in Prague and get a night train to Zilina at 00:24.Buy a bed reservation in that train, save money for hotel. And you will be at Zilina 6:30 tuesday morning fresh and ready for more pints |

And is there any reason why you're staying there. I'd definitely consider cancelling your accommodation in Brat and booking Zilina. Would make your trip a hell of a lot easier!! |
