My favourite rebel song. There is a great version on Youtube from a Kilmichael commemoration I attended some years back , sung by a descendant of Barry's brigade.
Pure emotion.

Tis a fine one. Galtee Mountain Boy would be my favourite however. Works fast paced or slow. A lament almost as Christy sings it or a bombastic uppa ra number like a few others. Superb.

Aye. Definately . Would it be a certain YBIG member who is moving to this neck of the woods shortly?

It would be exactly that. I'm giving him a hand moving which, despite all my good intentions, is likely to end in the Ramble. I approve of his choice of locations; from next to the Red Cap to next the Ramble!
