cheers roger! i'm planning to get to Glasgow first thing on sunday morning and will, as you say, try and ask as many people as possible. i'll definitely look out for the buses in the car park. i'm only after the one so hopefully someone might know someone etc and my luck will be in..

stiofain , you have a decent chance to  get a ticket outside the ground in the car park , busses coem from ireland and often they have spares as a fella misses the bus or the count is wrong , its not impossible to get a ticket at all , the trick is to ask absolutely everyone !!. good luck !!

Cheers FW and Rovers, appreciate the advice. I knew it was a big ask, especially after wednesday's result but just thought i'd chance my arm anyway. I'll probably still head up there and ask around the pubs on the sunday morning, i've nothing to lose.

Unlikely, but not impossible stiofain, you could take a chance and get down to glasgow early on sun morning to gallowgate area to the celtic pubs, my bro couple years ago did it and managed to get one but he was lucky, wont happen every time. Not goin to this one myself, but have plenty of contacts and il let u know if any spare, doubt it though

You'll be doing well Stiofáin, but go onto the Kerrydale St fan website,  http://kerrydalestreet.co.uk/index.php?act=idx and you might find some pointers there and failing that, when you're in Glasgow, go visit the Celtic Pubs around Gallowgate (ask the taxi man to bring you to Bairds from Central Station), someone might know someone........but you'll be doing well if you get one I reckon!   I don't recommend hanging about Glasgow too long afterwards, cos it's a kip.

Lads, im going to be in Newcastle next weekend. glasgow is only a couple of hours on the train and after watching on wednesday, i'd love to get to the old firm game on the sunday to experience the atmosphere. i imagine tickets are like gold dust for these games? i dont suppose any of the celtic fans would know of a spare floating about, or even a reliable tout they could recommend?

it was good tactics by strachan , he had to go with three up front , robson looks a good signing , i honestly didnt think he would be good enough

I was furious that Robson was taken off, I really like the look of him and he's ideal for an Old Firm game, but Strachan will point to 3 points........and it's hard to argue with that.

I'm not a celtic fan but i reckon cuellar shoud get an additional ban. he denied a certain goal by blatent cheating and had celtic failed to win as a result after missing that penalty, they woud have been out of the title race.

how bad was that penalty btw? you could tell from McDonalds body language that he would miss. couldnt believe it either when stracthan kept him on and took the impressive robson off.
celtic won in spite of thier manager last night, in my opinion.

Didn't hear that they're in trouble.  Good news for Celtic that Weir and Cuellar will miss the next Old Firm game.

And Rovers.....

Back on the Celtic v Rangers thread, it appears Caldwell and Weir got a red card for their "scrap" at the final whistle.
