August was another big month signed Conor Davis 2 League wins, 1 draw and 2 cup wins kept a strong lead in the table and filled out the season. Davis with a goal on his full cup debut and one on his full league debut v Cobh Ramblers. Then a hat-trick away to Drogheda Utd and UCD are within a point of the title.
CIE Ranch 2:6 UCD (FAI TV youtube channel) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GSQbhC3JWDQ Two goals down but an 89' equaliser from winger Jay McClelland. Before running out comfortably in extra-time. Ranch 'keeper Sean Brazil had an incredible performance. I believe first win for UCD after a tie went to extra-time, seven previous attempts incld. the first game of a tie going to extra-time before a losing replay. Third time UCD went two behind in a tie and won the tie. They all to go to a tie-breaker, the other two were replays. September is already choc-a-block, that brilliant dominant display over Waterford reducing them to one shot on target, a penalty kick in the 2nd half. Deserved and expected from a team that's grown together for 3 and a bit years (mostly 3). Again Davis opens the scoring so the whole side gets a tangible reward for their efforts. (Tangerines are part of the win bonuses at Belfield). UCD 2:1 Waterford (FAI TV youtube channel)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_Ho3IJPIgY |

Happy enough with that. Delighted for the players. They've hit every target expected of them and more to come this season.
Fair Play on the Finn Harps Fans who travelled they were in great voice and the point secures a play-off semi-final. |

Well find ucd. Best team over the course of the season. Entertaining enough game last night, devoid of many chances though. Good craic in the away end. Good to see a healthy UCD support there and a good traveling support. If we take current form into the playoffs we'll take some beating . Having to wait so long now will be detrimental to us I fear though

Should be no fear in the play off unless it's against one of the other first divison teams ye lose against. Mood around Limerick is at an all time, even then ye beat us in 2015 when we were one of the form teams for the last series of games. As Billy said we need to go down and hope the current regime clear out and get people in the help rebuild the club from the current owner. He still deserves some praise for saving the club and bringing in an under age set up before it became mandatory but in all his talk about becoming sustainable and living within your means he went out and done the complete opposite instead.
